These things are more sturdy than they look! I ordered 2 sets for my son's birthday party candy buffet, and the largest one easily held around 3 lb of gummy bears (the other set's large held the entire Costco container of jelly bellies - around 2.5 lb I believe), the middle one held 2 lb of runts, and the small one I used for the rock candy sticks.
